There is a particular warmth to walnut. In the movement of its grain, in the depth of its color, in the way a finished edge catches the light. It gives an object presence before a single thing is placed upon it.

Our first collection starts with this material and a simple question: how much does an object really need? A useful surface. A considered proportion. An edge that feels right beneath the hand.

We let the grain remain part of the composition. Its variation gives each piece a character of its own, and reminds us that making begins with attention to the material in front of us.

The result is an object intended for use: near the door, beside the turntable, within the daily movements of a home. Something to notice, and then to live with.
